Outfit Choices 2

I tried my models in different outfits to try and find the best style that would fit my music genre. Here, Max is wearing an 80's style sports jacket which would match a more pop, 80's and colourful theme. Nathan is wearing a plain grey jumper which suits my theme slightly better but I think that the use of denim reflects Americas skater scene a lot more clearly. I think the cigarette in the mouth is a good look for my genre as in my moodboard a lot of the pictures feature cigarettes and beers. The fact that it is a roll not a tailor cigarette further creates the atmosphere of it being a lower class music genre.

Clothing choices

Mac Demarco is a musician in my genre and I used Jake to portray his look that is quite country based, working class Americans. Most of the bands featured in my magazine are quite skater orientated and lower class people, lots of their images show them smoking, drinking and skating in places that are unkempt and not well looked after.
