The majority of people who completed my survey were 18-25 year old men who enjoy listening to grunge/skate music. They're all either unemployed, in education and/or have a part time job, this means that they all have quite a low budget. I will set my prices low and there will be a new issue every month so that the demand will remain higher. In the multiple choice questions many similar artists and bands came up such as Pixies, The Libertines, Fidlar and WAVVES. This gives me a good insight into the wider range of music that my audience is interested in, because I have collected this data I am going to try and include these bands on my front cover to catch the customers eye and build up a strong fan base. This will be easier as well using social media, which most young men tend to have and use quite frequently. Alongside the music that my audience is interested in I asked some questions to find out whether many are interested in current affairs involving government, politics and society and skate boarding, I found that the people of my target market are a lot more interested in politics etc. if it is controversial or challenges the normal views within society. 80% of the people who completed my survey all read VICE which is an indication that my audience is concerned with global affairs, enabling me to include that in my product using it as a USP to attract a more niche market. Also, 20/20 people that answered my quiz are all into skateboarding which is another potential USP.
